Jetsettlers is an online magazine dedicated to bringing expats all over the world together and sharing their unique voices. The experience of making a home on the other side of the world is different from travelling for leisure and has its own advantages, adventures, and hardships. Our goal is to create a community of storytellers, reporters, reviewers, observers, and even vicarious expats that may never leave their borders—a place where the collective experience is being away from home.
Jetsettlers is looking for talented writers to tell the stories from their corners of the world.
Currently, we are accepting submissions for all topics (500-750 words):
Daily Life (articles about the routine things that are not quite so routine in another land)
Adventures (the out of the ordinary events that we find ourselves a part of when we just “go”)
Must-See (What in your new city would you show all your friends and family back home?)
Food (We know you foodies are out there. Show us the local grub, and tell us what we’re missing.)
Photography (Hit us with your best shots.)
Entertainment (concerts, plays, film fests, art exhibits, fashion shows)
Books (We want excerpts and reviews of books for and about expats like you. Send us a piece of your own book or tell us what you thought of someone else’s.)
